The Real Estate Executives Forum (REEF) is a collective of approximately 30 real estate executives of color in Northern and Southern California that was formed in 2018 to discuss policy changes, development strategies, and public-private partnership opportunities to deliver more impactful commercial real estate development projects for Californians of various socioeconomic and racial-ethnic demographics.
REEF convenes monthly and invites guest speakers to present on relevant industry topics and emerging trends to address the housing crisis, homelessness crisis, and growth of the state. REEF members are thought leaders in their respective disciplines and explore ways to utilize the REEF platform to engage in meaningful discussions about equity, growth, and industry investments in the built environment.
As a real estate executive, you shouldn't have to choose between business and social equity.
It's no fun being the only one in the room. Don't be held back by status quo thinking. Your perspectives need a place to roam.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does REEF work?
We meet once per month. Meetings include some informal catch-up before housekeeping. Then, we're typically joined by an elected official or industry trailblazer for a presentation and discussion.
What's the time commitment?
Outside of our monthly meetings, the time commitment is low unless you volunteer to tackle REEF business as part of your contribution to the group. Other than that, if you're leveraging REEF, you're building friendships and doing business with other members throughout the month.
Is REEF right for me?
